Notepad in Windows 11 is finally getting a spellcheck feature
Microsoft is introducing the spellcheck feature to its Notepad app on Windows 11. Currently available to testers, this new spellcheck support will be rolled out to all Windows 11 users later this year.
Similar to Microsoft Word and the Microsoft Edge browser, Notepad's spellcheck works by automatically highlighting misspelled words in red. You can easily correct mistakes by simply right-clicking on the underlined word to view suggested spellings. To make things even more convenient, Microsoft has also included autocorrect, so errors are fixed as you type. Notepad's spellcheck will also support multiple languages, allowing you to work seamlessly in different language settings. Furthermore, you have the option to ignore specific words in your documents and add them to your personal dictionary.
With the arrival of spellcheck in Notepad, users can now enjoy an enhanced writing experience with accurate spellings and effortless error correction. Stay tuned for the official release of this useful feature in the coming months.
