Supreme Court in United States made decision that TikTok might be shut down in just few days. By January 19 ByteDance should sell its US operations, but If ByteDance doesn’t comply, TikTok could be banned in the country.

If TikTok is gone, there are other alternatives to enjoy similar short-form video content.

Instagram Reels is one of the most popular alternatives to TikTok. Trending sounds and topics from TikTok are also found in Instagram, so the content for users seems familiar and it is easy for them to switch.

Other Alternatives include RedNote, a Chinese app similar to Instagram with social shopping features, Lemon8 which is focused on photo and video sharing and Likee which offers creative filters and a large music library. Fanbase is an app that combines features from various social platforms, while Zigazoo is designed for younger users with a focus on safety. Favorited and Clapper offer unique livestreaming and unfiltered content options. Fable is ideal to book lovers, and Neptune is an upcoming app focused on supporting creators.
